Key Responsibilities
- Open and maintain customer accounts; manage teller drawer as needed.
- Support client engagement through active calls, conversations, and timely follow‑up.
- Assist clients with transactions in branch, drive‑thru, by phone, and email.
- Partner with internal parties (Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business, Treasury Management) to provide expertise and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all operational and risk management standards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor using the First Client Conversation Model, adding value and building deep client relationships.
- Participate in site center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities.
- Meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management.
- Provide digital assistance for customers using online banking services.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of bank products, processes, and procedures, particularly complex items.
- 2‑3 years client service experience in a retail environment.
- 2‑3 years sales and service experience with a proven record of achieving goals.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in sales or equivalent preferred.
- Strong sales skills and ability to build client relationships.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales.
- Advanced understanding of bank products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with consumer banking certification, deposit and lending certifications.
- Ability to serve a wide variety of client needs according to bank policy and procedures.
- Physical requirements:
occasional lifts up to 20 lbs; frequent lifts up to 10 lbs; standing, walking, and driving as required.
The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed by State and Federal law and regulation, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting, and all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures.
Pay Range$18.00 – $20.19 per hour.
