Credit Analyst – Financial Institutions

Responsibilities

• Completing the daily duties of underwriting and monitoring credit
• Performing analytical activities and identifying risks or issues
• Drafting credit approval documents and review memos for loans and other products
• Building proficiency in underwriting and completing the underwriting process
• Attending and supporting Portfolio Reviews as needed
• Monitoring Credit Excellence and initiating collection of financial statements
• Preparing succinct credit approval memos
• Completing ongoing portfolio monitoring and covenant tracking
• Verifying covenants and defining updates needed on ticklers
• Generating various pipeline and portfolio reporting as needed
• Preparing Criticized Period Reviews reports with oversight
• Running projection models with provided assumptions
• Maintaining a working knowledge of Bancorp credit policies, guidelines and procedures
• Performing Borrowing Entity PD Ratings and Obligation LGD Ratings

• Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting)
• 2+ years of Commercial Banking credit analysis experience
• Sound Financial and risk analysis understanding
• Ability to develop financial models
• Extensive Knowledge of banking products and services
• Knowledge of corporate business structure and legal documents
• General knowledge of U.S. government and regulation
• Proficiency in internal banking applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills
