Job Description
Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
Aschool in Ingleside, IL is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team for the uping academic year. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and munication disorders, as well as developing tailored treatment plans to educate and support families and caregivers. The specific caseload will be determined. The director is currently reviewing applications and scheduling interviews for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and treating munication disorders
- Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
- Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
- Keeping detailed records relating to patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
Experience:
- Previous experience in the SLP setting.
- Previous experience in school setting as SLP preferred
