Recruiter - Store Level

Steak ’n Shake is looking for a Recruiter – Store level to help us build great restaurant teams across the brand. This is a hands‑on recruiting role focused on finding, engaging, and hiring store level team members who can deliver the food, service, and hospitality our guests expect.

• Recruit and hire hourly and restaurant team members across assigned markets.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, community outreach, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Review applications, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews.
• Partner with leadership to understand staffing needs and priorities.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Track recruiting activity, open positions, interviews, and hires using recruiting systems and reports.
• Participate in hiring events, job fairs, and local community recruiting activities.
• Help develop creative ways to attract talent in competitive markets.
• Support recruiting initiatives and projects across the organization.

• 1+ year of recruiting/staffing experience; high‑volume hiring experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting hourly or restaurant employees is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organized with excellent follow‑up and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Self‑motivated, energetic, and results‑driven.
• Comfortable using technology, recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office.
