Overview
The Platform Specialist will handle unique or complex transactions on various eCommerce sites (Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, etc). This role is an established and productive individual contributor responsible for processing customer transactions and/or updating, correcting, altering transactions, and solving problems for customers as requested. The primary focus is to address eCommerce Marketplace inquiries with speed and accuracy and perform to required service level agreements (SLAs).
You will perform transactional functions to support business and associate team members’ requests. Understand Ingram Micro's processes and solutions. Effectively resolve issues with accuracy, tact, and speed. Under moderate supervision, you perform transactional functions and Customer Service duties. You interact with customers and other associates in Ingram Micro solving problems, working towards solutions to prevent the same problems from arising in the future.
- Work directly with end users via message boards, phone and email responding to requests and solving problems.
- Maintain data integrity.
- Optimize business processes.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and build customer satisfaction. Always try to see the "big picture" in every task.
- Work closely with Sales, Operations and Engineering working towards constant improvement and efficiency of processes.
- Generate data quality reports and provide metrics allowing management to identify trends, problems and successes.
- Provide general support for the team.
- Knowledge of professional, effective communication techniques and customer care. Understanding of Ingram Micro programs, services, and products.
- Skilled in personal computing including Microsoft programs such as Outlook and Excel. Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work as a team member. Analyze data to provide meaningful insights and trends. Able to prioritize and operate with urgency and results oriented.
- Two-year college degree or equivalent experience or minimum 3-year experience in functional area, OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years functional experience, preferably at a senior level.
- Ability to pass a drug test and successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $48,200.00 - $77,100.00 per year. Additional rewards may include merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives.
