Senior AWS Cloud Platform Engineer

This opportunity is part of our implementation practice, where you will work directly on Value Momentum-led projects, collaborating closely with our clients to deliver impactful solutions.

We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable AWS cloud solutions while working directly with clients and business stakeholders
. This role requires strong technical depth combined with excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Technical Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure
• Architect highly available and fault-tolerant AWS solutions
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Cloud Formation)
• Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, EKS, Lambda, and Cloud Watch
• Implement security best practices, compliance controls, and cost optimization
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure issues
• Support production environments and participate in on-call rotations

Client-Facing Responsibilities

• Act as a technical point of contact for clients on AWS infrastructure and cloud architecture
• Gather client requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions
• Lead client discussions for architecture reviews, cloud migrations, and optimization initiatives
• Provide technical guidance, best practices, and recommendations to clients
• Participate in client meetings, status calls, and technical workshops
• Assist with incident response and root cause analysis involving client environments
• Create and present technical documentation and architecture diagrams for clients
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations and SLAs are met

• 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with strong AWS focus
• Proven experience in client-facing or consulting roles
• Deep knowledge of AWS networking, security, and core services
• Strong experience with Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Linux administration and scripting experience (Bash, Python)
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Dev Ops Engineer)
• Experience with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS
• Experience in MSP or managed services environments
• Experience presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
