We are seeking a highly analytical, business‑oriented, and client‑facing Senior Associate / Engagement Manager with experience in CPG retail execution, field sales analytics, product management, data science, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain understanding of retail execution in a CPG context, including Perfect Store, route‑to‑market, field sales efficiency, store‑level execution, and commercial performance improvement.
This role will support a strategic engagement with CPG clients and will require close collaboration with client stakeholders, product teams, data science teams, analytics teams, and engineering teams to translate business priorities into scalable, insight‑driven solutions.
Retail Execution & CPG Domain Expertise- Understand key retail execution and field sales priorities in a CPG environment, including Perfect Store, route‑to‑market, sales force effectiveness, field sales productivity, and store‑level execution.
- Partner with client stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve commercial performance, in‑store execution, field efficiency, and decision‑making.
- Translate business problems related to field sales and retail execution into structured analytics use cases and product requirements.
- Apply CPG and retail knowledge to ensure analytics outputs are practical, business‑relevant, and adoption‑oriented.
- Support product management activities across analytics and data science initiatives, including requirement gathering, roadmap support, prioritization, user stories, and stakeholder alignment.
- Work closely with data science, analytics, and engineering teams to shape solution design, analytical outputs, dashboards, models, and product features.
- Bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams by translating business needs into clear data, analytics, and product requirements.
- Help define success metrics, KPIs, and value‑tracking frameworks for analytics solutions.
- Partner with technical teams to support the delivery of data science and analytics solutions that improve business performance and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to hypothesis generation, insight development, KPI design, and analytics‑driven recommendations.
- Support the development of dashboards, scorecards, analytical products, and decision‑support tools for commercial and field sales users.
- Ensure analytical outputs are actionable, clearly communicated, and aligned to client priorities.
- Serve as a trusted partner to CPG stakeholders by understanding business needs, managing ambiguity, and driving structured problem solving.
- Communicate insights, solution progress, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly to both business and technical audiences.
- Facilitate discussions, alignment sessions, and working meetings across client teams and Math Co delivery teams.
- Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
- Support day‑to‑day engagement management, including planning, prioritization, stakeholder coordination, issue resolution, and delivery governance.
