Dev Ops Engineer - AI

Abb Vie’s EPIC team is responsible for building and deploying scalable in‑house generative AI applications to boost productivity and accelerate scientific innovation.

As a Dev Ops Engineer on the EPIC team, you will play a crucial role in automating deployments, interfacing with the cloud infrastructure team, provisioning cloud resources, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring high‑impact generative AI applications.

• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools
• Collaborate with the cloud infrastructure team to provision, configure, and manage cloud resources
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using cloud formation templates
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Continuously improve deployment processes and enhance system reliability
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth integration of software components

• Bachelors degree in relevant field and at least 5 years relevant experience OR Masters degree in relevant field and at least 4 years experience.
• Proficient in AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including provisioning, monitoring, and management
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Git Hub Actions and Jenkins
• Solid understanding of cloud formation templates and infrastructure as code principles
• Expertise in Linux administration and shell scripting
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
