What Does It Mean to Be a Part of Our Reach Lift Operator Team?As a Reach Lift Operator, you will use a piece of equipment called a Reach Lift to move products within the warehouse and put‑away product in the correct slot. It is designed to work in narrow aisles, allowing operators to reach high shelves while maintaining stability. These lifts are ideal for storing and retrieving goods from elevated storage spaces, offering enhanced maneuverability compared to traditional forklifts.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring products are readily available for various teams within the warehouse.
- Overnight shifts available
- Monday – Friday
- Start time 11:00 pm or 12:00 am, 8‑hour shifts
- Overtime available during times of high volume, work until job completion
- Full‑time
- $21.00 per hour starting pay
- Weekend shift differential – $2.00 per hour
- Overnight shift differential $1.25 per hour
- Freezer premium $2.00 per hour
- Scheduled for pay increases – $1.00 per hour after 1 year, $1.50 after 2 years

- Reports to the inbound office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment, vehicle inspection sheet and replenishment discrepancies sheet
- Replenishes pick slots using the view request screen. If no requests exist, uses the manual replenish screen to fill empty or almost empty slots
- Performs knockdowns for selectors when needed
- Maintains correct counts and logs any discrepancies in inventory
- Verifies that the correct product is being put in the appropriate pick location
- Cuts and removes shrink wrap from all knockdowns
- Removes all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles. Separates the good, bad, and blue pallets and neatly stages them in the pallet staging area
- Keeps area clean and debris out of the work area
- Operates the lift in a safe and efficient manner
- Parks and recharges lift in its appropriate spot at the end of the shift
- Immediately informs a lead, supervisor, or manager of any potential safety violations or violation of company policy
- Performs duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location
- Operating a forklift in accordance with Company standards and procedures including quality standards and safety regulations
- Effective communication and coordination exist with Company personnel and with management
- Assistance and support are provided as needed
- Deadlines are met
- Attendance policy is adhered to
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Understanding of safety guidelines
- Strong knowledge of applicable backup functions and RF systems
- Previous forklift experience
- Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Exposed to temperatures ranging from
-20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Perishable Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Grocery Operation - Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for maintenance and service procedures
- Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment
- Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work‑related equipment
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
