Responsibilities- Evaluate sales quotes to select vendors for quoting process opportunity.
- Manage all vendor communications and related orders including transportation, carrier damage, non-conforming components, and paperwork discrepancies.
- Set goals to track KPIs and measure results to achieve 2‑3% savings year over year.
- Utilize data analytics to review supplier performance on KPIs and drive continuous improvements.
- Support existing and new component purchases, selecting the most capable, cost‑effective suppliers to meet material specifications.
- Drive vendor management to ensure the highest level of quality and service.
- Select and partner with key suppliers to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality delivery of products.
- Partner with key functions—finance, estimating, business development, and operations—to align results with the site’s goals.
- Develop innovative strategies to achieve savings while promoting continuous cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Act as liaison among vendors, business units, and operations teams to resolve material or service issues promptly.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for continuous improvement and manage financial risk.
- Analyze purchase price variances compared to quotes.
- Ensure all components will run on selected PCI machines for production.
- Manage inventory levels, warehouse capacity, and slow‑moving inventory.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and processes for the entire procurement team.
- Provide overtime or weekend work as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or 1‑5 years of related experience.
- College level mathematical skills.
- Intermediate computer skills with ability to perform complex tasks.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken communication.
- High reasoning skills to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
- Ability to interpret instructions provided in various forms.
- Sound judgment and the ability to present information effectively.
- Willingness to make decisions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment daily.
- Knowledge of PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies and procedures.
For Illinois residents: $62,960K to $70,830K, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by experience, education, credentials, geography, and expertise.
