Branch Manager

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, financial performance, sales growth, and operational success of the assigned branch. This position has full accountability for branch profitability, manufacturing operations, customer satisfaction, employee development, and regulatory compliance. The Branch Manager develops and executes business strategies that drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while ensuring the branch consistently meets financial, safety, quality, and customer service objectives.
This position serves as the primary liaison between the branch and corporate leadership.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the branch, ensuring alignment with company objectives, operational excellence, and profitable business growth.
- Maintain full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for branch performance, including revenue growth, profitability, budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and working capital.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans and sales initiatives that drive branch growth, customer retention, and new business development.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers while collaborating with outside sales personnel to identify opportunities and resolve customer concerns.
- Direct all branch manufacturing operations, including production, quality, maintenance, warehouse, shipping, receiving, and logistics, to achieve safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Monitor and improve key operational and financial performance metrics, including EBITDA, gross margin, inventory turns, productivity, on-time delivery, and cash flow.
- Oversee purchasing activities and ensure appropriate inventory levels to support operational efficiency and customer requirements.
- Recruit, coach, develop, and lead branch personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Establish performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and support employee development and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO quality standards, safety requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Review branch performance with employees and provide senior leadership with forecasts, market intelligence, and business updates.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns and quality issues while supporting long-term customer satisfaction.

- Ability to develop accurate and competitive quotations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Education
- Required:
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
Work Experience
- Required:
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive sales experience. - Required:
Minimum of three (3) years of leadership or management experience within a manufacturing environment. - Preferred:
