The Preparedness Grant Programs Section Manager serves as a full-line supervisor for the Illinois Emergency Management Agency and Office of Homeland Security (IEMA-OHS), administering and managing state and federal preparedness grant programs. The role involves developing and implementing grant programs, managing federal and state requirements, ensuring timely submission of reports, and coordinating with agency management on program reviews. The position is based in Springfield, Illinois with a hybrid work schedule of 2-5 days per week in office.
Keyqualifications:
- Four (4) years of college, preferably in business or public administration
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization
- Three (3) years of professional experience administering federal grants and federal pass-through grant programs
- Three (3) years of professional experience with FEMA grant requirements and federal reporting
- Three (3) years of professional experience supervising staff
