- Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports
- Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex, dynamic environment
- Manage scope, schedule, resources, budget, status, impediments, and risks/issues
- Ensure projects are appropriately documented, delivered on time, and risk-mitigated
- Partner cross-functionally with project customers to drive project delivery
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver commitments
- Coach and develop associates
- Influence and manage stakeholders and intent owners across Capital One, from VP+ to associate
- Set direction, manage expectations, and lead cross-functional teams
- Serve as subject matter expert on governance and process improvement initiatives
- Drive cross-division initiatives, strategy, and high-priority projects within a newly formed PMO
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
- At least 8 Years of Project Management experience
- At least 1 Year of People Management experience

- Masters Degree (preferred)
- At least 10 years of Project Management experience (preferred)
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification (preferred)
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills (preferred)
- Excellent problem solving and influencing skills (preferred)
Demonstrates extensive Project Management expertise, including strategic direction, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration. Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvement initiatives within a dynamic environment.
