Assembler - Morning Shift

Assembler I

Join us as an Assembler I where you'll engage in fulfilling and varied sub-assembly and assembly tasks.

• Preparing work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gathering necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positioning parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
• Assembling components and ensuring proper fit by examining connections; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Assisting in building prototypes and other basic assembly projects outside of regular production as needed.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by following rules and regulations.
• Conserving resources by utilizing equipment and supplies effectively to achieve job results.
• Contributing to the team by training others in basic assembly tasks as necessary.
• Inspecting your work to ensure it meets requirements before passing it on to the next operation.
• Documenting your actions by completing production and quality forms.

• Possess a High School diploma or GED, or a combination of relevant work experience and skill development.
• Ideally have 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Are capable of safely using small hand and power tools.
• Can read and interpret drawings and bills of material.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Can read and understand instructions, both written and verbal, in English.

• Medium to Heavy Physical Demand Level as classified by the US Dept of Labor.
• Lifting requirements: lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance; lifting up to 40 pounds frequently; carrying up to 40 pounds occasionally over short distances; pushing/pulling up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 40 pounds occasionally with help.
• Postural requirements: standing and walking continuously; bending/stooping and squatting/kneeling frequently; frequent lifting.
• Miscellaneous demands: continuous gripping, manipulation, and fingering; frequent hand/power tool use; participating in two-person tasks using assistive devices for lifting.
