Role Summary
The Calibration Technician is responsible for maintaining, testing, and repairing a variety of instruments and equipment to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with industry standards. This position requires attention to detail, a solid understanding of technical specifications, and adherence to quality, safety, and environmental policies.
Job Details- Position Type:
Hourly, Full Time - 3rd Shift | Monday – Friday
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00/hour, depending on experience

Continuous Improvement Director
- Perform accurate calibration of a variety of instruments and devices according to detailed drawings, technical specifications, and established procedures
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct measurement errors or discrepancies to ensure precision and reliability in instrument readings
- Accurately compile, record, and maintain calibration data and test results for each instrument, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Follow all quality, safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S practices (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvements and contribute to the efficient operation of the calibration department
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of calibration processes, measurement systems, and instrumentation
- Strong focus on accuracy and precision in measurements, data recording, and documentation
- Ability to identify issues with equipment or processes and take corrective actions
- Basic verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
- Ability to apply basic mathematical skills for calibration calculations and measurements
- Comfortable working with hands-on tasks, including adjusting instruments and assembling/disassembling parts
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and work instructions.
- Education:
High School - Experience:
0 to 2 years of experience in calibration, maintenance, or a related technical field, or a combination of education and experience - Ability to perform basic calibration work under direct supervision, with the opportunity to take on more complex tasks as experience is gained.
