* For a logistics-focused client located in Joliet, IL, we are seeking a Material Handler on a temporary basis with the opportunity for permanent employment. The role is centered on supporting daily warehouse operations through accurate handling, movement, and organization of materials. The position offers structured first and second shift schedules from Monday to Friday, providing predictable working hours within a fast-paced environment.
As a Material Handler, the selected candidate will work within an industrial setting where attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures are essential. This position is suited to individuals who are comfortable with varied physical tasks and who can follow established processes to maintain efficient material flow and support overall operational performance.
** Benefits*

+ Hourly pay rate of $16.00 providing clear and consistent compensation for all hours worked on site.
** What You Will Do?*
* + Work on an open first shift from Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. performing assigned material handling duties as scheduled.
+ Alternatively work on a second shift from Monday to Friday from 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. completing required warehouse and material movement tasks.
+ Handle, move, and organize materials within the facility, following instructions and established procedures to support daily operations.
+ Perform varied job activities related to material handling, which may include loading, unloading, staging, or rearranging items as directed.
+ Follow workplace safety guidelines while conducting all material handling tasks to help maintain a safe and orderly working environment.
** Your Skills*
* + Ability to work reliably on a structured Monday to Friday schedule on either first or second shift as required by the operation.
+ Capability to perform varied physical material handling tasks throughout the shift while maintaining consistent performance.
+ Attention to detail when following instructions about how materials should be moved, stored, or organized within the facility.
+ Willingness to adhere to all safety procedures and operational guidelines while handling materials in an industrial environment.
+ Educational level of graduation, demonstrating the ability to understand written instructions and basic workplace documentation requirements.
