The Manufacturing Engineer Intern supports the Company Mission and Values by providing industrial and manufacturing support through the application of methods analysis and work measurement time studies, under moderate supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified candidates will be a junior or senior working towards a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Management with an accredited engineering school.
- Basic knowledge of Lean principles is required.
- Strong initiative, interpersonal and team skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure.
- Solid analytical skills.
TRAVEL
Travel will be minimal.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical specifications, professional journals, and blueprints. Must have the ability to write routine reports and documentations, as well as be able to speak effectively within the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. To be successful one must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint software.
OTHER SKILLS
Professional e‑mail, written and oral communication is required.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office setting. The manufacturing environment will be noisy, climate is less controlled and where PPE will be required.
