Salary Range: $15.00 To $17.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, and packaging equipment, following all safety procedures.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for distribution to retail store locations.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring consistency in taste, appearance, and freshness.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Maintain accurate production, packaging, and inventory records as required.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, utensils, and production areas.
• Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing ingredients and packaging materials using FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
• Report equipment malfunctions, product concerns, or safety hazards to a supervisor promptly.
• Work collaboratively with commissary team members to meet daily production goals and shipping deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support commissary operations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to work in refrigerated or freezer environments
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions
• Manual handling of boxes, trays, and carts.
• Insurance Package (eligible through ACA)
• Paid Leave (eligible through IL Paid Leave for All Act)

Pay Rate: Starting at $15 per hour. Higher pay available depending on experience.
