Team Lead II

G&W Electric Co. seeks a Team Lead II to oversee daily operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You will coordinate work assignments, monitor output, and support a team of operators to meet schedule, quality, and safety goals. Responsibilities include tracking performance metrics, troubleshooting issues, driving continuous improvement, and reinforcing standard work. You'll collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to resolve problems and implement process enhancements in a collaborative, quality-focused culture with strong growth and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of a manufacturing production team to meet safety, quality, and output targets
• Assign work, monitor progress, and adjust resources to maintain schedule adherence
• Enforce safety procedures and promote a culture of safety and compliance on the shop floor
• Monitor product quality, perform checks, and coordinate with Quality to resolve nonconformances
• Use production data and KPIs to track performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Lead or support continuous improvement and lean initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering for resolution
• Train, coach, and mentor operators to build skills, versatility, and engagement
• Ensure adherence to standardized work, work instructions, and documented processes
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and leadership on status, risks, and needs
