Job Title: Sit Down Forklift Operator

Location: Joliet, IL (Joliet Metro)

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour

Shift: Monday‑Friday – First Shift $19.50;
Second Shift $20.50

• Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify errors or defects.
• Communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates via telephone, e‑mail, or in person.
• Handle, install, position, and move materials using hands and arms.
• Finalize receipt of goods and provide documentation for processing.
• Verify all reports for accuracy of locations, quantities, and product received.
• Perform daily checklist on all equipment used.
• Identify and report all safety hazards.
• Repack damaged product into new boxes and palletize.
• Clean warehouse area as assigned.
• Deposit trash from assigned area in dumpster.
• Complete other assignments as requested.

• Minimum one year as a forklift operator.
• Able to lift and maneuver cases over 50 lbs continuously.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment drug testing and background check.

• Work in varying climates, including cooler, freezer, and dry conditions.
• Perform lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions.

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required:
  Steel‑toed shoes.
