Med​/Surg LPN​/RN - Day Shift

LPN Requirements:
Graduation from accredited School of Nursing. Currently Licensed as an LPN in the State of Illinois.

RN Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing. Licensed and currently registered as a Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois. ACLS educated.

Preferred current experience (within past 2 years). New graduates considered.

Exemplary critical thinking skills and problem‑solving skills required; ability to work independently as part of a multi‑disciplinary team; demonstrated strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Provides professional nursing care within our Medical Surgical Unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients. Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Strives to improve team effectiveness, system processes and patient outcomes across the continuum of care.
