Location: Des Plaines, IL area

End Date: June 10, 2025
Schedule:

• Monday: 8:15am - 3:45pm
• Tuesday & Wednesday: 7:45am - 3:15pm
• Thursday & Friday: 8:15am - 3:45pm
  (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Position Type: Contract,  school year

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct health services to students, including assessment, intervention, and referral for health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) as needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Promote a healthy school environment through education and prevention programs.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to student health.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Nurse endorsement.
• Experience working as a school nurse preferred but not required.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR certification preferred.
