Family Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner needed for a contract opportunity with our occupational health clinic located in Joliet, IL.

Monday and Wednesday 10am to 7pm;
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am to 5pm

8/10-11/8 with possible extension or direct placement

$65-78/hr DOE

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

• All NP licenses and education to practice
• Current BLS certification
• Occ Health experience preferred but open to candidates with related experience
• DOT certification
• 2+ years of FNP primary care experience
• Bilingual is a plus
