Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Director Of Nursing Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Joliet Treatment Center in Joliet, Illinois.

The Director Of Nursing is responsible for directing the full nursing team, providing clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff in the correctional environment. Works under the direction of the contract manager and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team to improve health care of incarcerated patients.

• Active RN license to practice in Illinois
• BSN required. MSN preferred
• Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of five years of supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in examining operations, formulating, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures preferred
• Corrections, forensics or criminal justice experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background
