Quality Lead Manager

The Quality Lead Manager is responsible for leading and managing all quality assurance and quality control functions within the manufacturing facility. This role ensures that products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives, reducing defects, and supporting operational excellence across production processes

• Conduct quality inspections during incoming material check, in-process production, and final product shipment
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), control plans, and inspection criteria
• Monitor and improve product yield and defect rates through data analysis
• Lead internal and external audits, including customer and third-party audits
• Plan and conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests on ESS packs and component
• Lead reliability and life cycle testing for pack-level systems
• Analyze defects and test results; generate improvement reports and corrective actions
• Maintain documentation, work instructions, and quality records
• Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA
• Manage customer audits, quality documentation, and feedback communications
• Provide technical support for field quality issues and product returns (RMA management
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers; conduct periodic quality audit
• Monitor incoming material quality and coordinate corrective actions with supplier
• Ensure consistency and compliance in outsourced manufacturing and component sourcing
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technician
• Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluation
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain team
• Manage supplier quality performance, audits, and corrective action
• Address customer complaints, returns, and warranty issue
• Act as the primary quality contact for key customers
• Ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues
• Oversee inspection, testing, and validation processes
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities

• 3+ years of experience in quality management within manufacturing
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing preferred

• Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and statistical methods
• Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in ERP/MES systems and quality tools (SPC, Minitab,
• etc.) Bilingual in Korea and English preferred
