AE - Sales Leader

Overview

As the full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading Leader on Duty (LOD) shifts and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You manage daily store operations as needed, train, motivate and celebrate associates, and drive strong sales results. You represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.

Your Role — You will contribute to achieving KPI targets by maximizing productivity on the sales floor and in the fitting room, while delivering a best-in-class in-store guest experience.

• You have a passion for driving sales: as a key LOD, maximize Fitting Room and Sales floor productivity and build guest loyalty through an outstanding guest experience; collaborate with Store Leadership to maximize business opportunities and KPI results.
• People leadership: motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values; model service standards on the Sales floor and in the Fitting Room; hold associates accountable.
• Talent and training: recruit and hire strong talent to ensure adequate staffing; train and develop associates to provide outstanding service and uphold a Guest First culture.
• Teamwork: set clear, attainable goals for Sales and Stock Associates; provide real-time coaching and feedback; celebrate outstanding performance to drive engagement.
• Visual & operational innovation: execute and improve daily visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves and visual standards; ensure Fitting Rooms are guest-ready and aligned with AEO Brand Standards.
• Integrity and safety: maintain store safety standards, uphold Asset Protection standards, adhere to AEO policies and procedures, and do the right thing.

• You have prior retail management experience leading teams.
• You can multi-task with strong attention to detail; you set priorities and manage time effectively.
