HM Sales Advisor Seasonal

About the Role

As a Sales Advisor, you’ll provide excellent customer service, welcome and guide customers throughout the store, sell products, and offer fashion guidance. You’ll also support garment care, presentation, and maintain a clean and tidy sales floor.

A typical day includes customer sales, training, and store operations.

• Provide excellent customer service and guide customers through the store and OMNI experience.
• Engage and have conversations with customers to provide exceptional service.
• Guide customers through fashion trends, stories, and products across all areas of the store.
• Effectively promote and sell our products to customers.
• Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.
• Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.
• Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.
• Keep up‑to‑date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.
• Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.
• Retain and share service, fashion, and store operations knowledge with colleagues.
• Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.
• Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop, and support each other.
• Participate in onboarding, introduction processes, and relevant training and courses.
• Complete the full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensuring good garment care.
• Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.
• Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house (including stockrooms).
• Support garment presentation, execution, and maintain attractive merchandise displays, clear trends, and stories according to visual and commercial guidelines.
• Maintain good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
• Maintain and follow best practice for any in‑store OMNI services and in‑store tech services/tools.
• Support opening and closing of the store.
• Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role and responsibilities.
