Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department and deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.
What You’ll Do- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with team members to fulfill sales and service requests, educate other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians, and communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service.
- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, Tire Pressure Monitoring systems, product specifications and seasonality, and Point of Sale systems, phone, and in‑person selling techniques.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application and training, and adapt new tools and encouraging others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain accurate inventory, audit safety and compliance standards, report complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services and work areas, complete paperwork logs, and ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled and stored per company policies and procedures; identify member needs and assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in the TBC area, modeling high‑quality service and products, and influencing and inspiring others for team‑oriented, respectful and supportive work style, and assist in training team members.
- Comply with Company Policies: Implement action plans using the Open Door Policy and apply them when executing business processes and practices.
- Complete Work Assignments: Use policies, data and resources to collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and other partners, identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change.

- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Must successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
- Experience in auto service industry or retail.

CompensationHourly wage range: $20.00 – $28.00 (actual rate equal to or exceeding the minimum wage). Additional compensation may include premiums of $0.35‑$3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
