• The Regional Sales representative will be primarily responsible for providing support during territory leave of absence as directed by manager to include:
• Support and sustain coverage in territory
• Fostering & maintaining existing relationships with surgeons in territory
• Upholding team culture and building strong relationships with Sales Manager and teammates through daily communication and acting as a team player
• Representing Stryker as a leader in the industry by promoting products to surgeons and healthcare professionals
• Providing excellent customer service to territory customer accounts, including information on proper use and maintenance of Stryker products, product functionality and updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs
• When not covering a LOA, the Regional Representative will be responsible for:
• Providing territory coverage for Level 1 conversions
• Supporting Teaching Institutions
• Overall territory support within region
• Supporting Trauma Sales Education initiatives
• On‑site support and training for Sales Enablement 201 training
• Supporting Regional Events, including sales representative training, assisting field sales trainers, and associate trainer support
• Travel up to 80‑90%
• Serving as the primary backup contact support for territory for Sales Representatives and Associates, as requested
• Completing the Sales Representative training program, consisting of Employee Orientation, Center Training, Product Knowledge and Field Territory Training
• Attending surgeries in which Stryker Trauma products are used to ensure all products are available and to instruct surgeons on product use and functionality
• Working with sales teams to deliver excellent customer service and further develop and support customer relationships
• Identifying the needs of new prospects and, in conjunction with the Sales Representative, developing appropriate responses
• Learning features and benefits of new products with the ability to use additional products as they become available
• Implementing sales plans and marketing strategies to competitively position the organization, tailoring Stryker’s promotional message based on customer knowledge, advising on product selection, answering questions about product functionality, and distinguishing Stryker products from competitors
• Assisting the Sales Representative in meeting and exceeding business targets (quotas)
• Supporting the sales organization indirectly by providing exceptional customer service and account support, ensuring continuity of service while Sales Representatives cover territories affected by medical leaves or other coverage gaps
• Coordinating with manager and sales teams to assist in on‑call case coverage needs
• Acquiring a basic understanding of sales requirements, including regulatory compliance issues
• Consistently complying with business principles, including Adva Med: maintaining privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting organizational assets, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non‑compliance, and adhering to applicable laws, regulations, accreditation and licensing requirements, and company policies and procedures
• Assisting in account problem resolution
• Maintaining training in sales skills and products
• When necessary, marketing the product line to customers based on knowledge of functionality, features, and differentiating factors of Stryker’s product line
• Maintaining knowledge of industry, customers, and competitive trends
• Participating in and attending sales meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required

• 4+ years of experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role/sales support role (or a combination of the two)
• Preference for trauma/orthopaedic sales environment
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in respective areas
• Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in current office technologies (MS Office suite, databases, etc.)
• Comfortable in emergency/operating room environments

This role is 100% commission and eligible for bonuses and benefits.
