Position Summary
Senior Channel Account Executive based in Plano, TX, responsible for managing the partnership with Vertex Wireless.
Role and Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy aligned with business goals.
- Manage the ongoing pipeline and inventory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the partner, including executives, sales teams, and account managers.
- Drive revenue growth through the channel by identifying new business opportunities, managing run rate, promoting products and services, and supporting sales efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and support for channel initiatives.
- Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and risks within the channel.
- Negotiate and manage partner agreements, pricing, and incentives to maximize mutual profitability and success.
- Lead joint business planning sessions, QBRs, and other strategic meetings to drive mutual growth and success.
- Mentor and support funded Head resources, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner forums to promote the brand and build relationships within the channel ecosystem.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in channel management.
- Direct experience with Vertex Wireless or similar large channel partners preferred.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through channel partnerships and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of technology products and services, particularly in the IT industry. Mobility products a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Salary range (Illinois): $138,000 – $163,000. The role requires up to 30% travel.
