OverviewFull‑time position located in the United States (remote). Reports to the Director of Account Development & Training. Nuage Designs, a luxury linens and event‑rental company, is looking for a Sales Coordinator for its East Coast sales teams.
Responsibilities- Process and input new Trade Account applications into Intelli Event (IE), notifying the associated Account Executive that the account is established and ready for outreach.
- Answer general inquiries submitted via the website contact form or general inbox, directing clients to the appropriate person or department.
- Review Design Trunk orders submitted through the website, entering new client data into IE and updating existing profiles to reflect ownership, supporting future collection launches.
- Input (and occasionally revise) non‑revenue generating orders on behalf of the Sales Team, including samples, swatches, photoshoots, hospitality/donations, etc.
- Cross‑check product availability for future event dates to ensure goods are available prior to sampling or fulfillment.
- Submit Inventory Addition Requests (IARs) to Production when required based on product availability findings.
- Notify the Account Executive upon order completion, relaying pertinent information regarding availability or product assortment so the order can be submitted to the client.
- Run a daily Balance Report and process balances due for all orders with a current Final Date for Changes, sending receipt and proof of paid invoice to the client contact on file.
- Run a weekly Tentative Order Aging Report to identify quotes generated more than 30 days prior, conducting follow‑ups on dormant orders to advance the closing process.
While this role is primarily remote, candidates should be comfortable attending occasional networking events, client meetings, and industry‑related educational opportunities within their local market. Candidates based in key growth markets (Boston, Philadelphia, Nashville, Raleigh) are encouraged to support regional alignment and market development.
Qualifications- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Mathematical proficiency – ability to compute discounts, percentages, and proportions.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Versatile problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Intelli Event, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), CRM systems, and order‑management software.
- Familiarity with Stripe credit‑card processing.
- Ability to learn and quickly develop proficiency in new systems.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Relevant experience in the event or hospitality industry (sales, coordination, administration) highly desired.
- Self‑motivated, works well independently, and takes direction well.
- Calm under pressure and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team orientation – supportive of Account Executives with a service mindset, proactive, reliable, and easy to work with.
- Attention to detail – detects discrepancies in data, inventory, and orders before they become problems.
The position involves primarily sedentary work at a desk. Responsibilities include extended periods of sitting, hand use to operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse, and verbal and written communication via phone, video conferencing, and email. Fine motor skills such as handwriting may be required occasionally. Visual demands include close vision and focus on a computer screen for prolonged periods.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
