Molecular Imaging Account Manager, Cardiology – Central
Job PurposeThis position primarily encompasses market development and promotional activities for Bracco’s cardiovascular PET agent, Cardio Gen-82, within the Central territory, covering Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, and St.Louis. The role involves direct interface with nuclear cardiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, radiologists, technologists, nursing personnel, business administrators and financial officers, as well as nuclear (SPECT & PET) camera equipment vendors, radio pharmacies, and imaging service providers, including mobile and free‑standing centers.
Responsibilities- Achieve sales quotas for all nuclear medicine products, primarily Cardio Gen-82.
- Implement market development initiatives to expand cardiovascular PET imaging with Cardio Gen-82.
- Possess and continuously acquire sufficient knowledge of cardiovascular diagnostic imaging, with emphasis on cardiovascular PET.
- Develop a territory action plan with objectives, implementation steps, action items, and timelines to achieve corporate and territorial goals.
- Coordinate and conduct educational programs (in‑services, seminars, symposia, etc.) for customers on Cardio Gen-82.
- Build and maintain rapport with key thought leaders and cardiovascular diagnostic imaging businesses.
- Maintain up-to-date territory records and customer information.
- Provide technical support to nuclear medicine/nuclear cardiology departments and radio pharmacies.
- Effectively communicate market intelligence and trends, including competitive information, to Bracco marketing and sales management.
- Continuously develop personal knowledge of markets, products, customers, and Bracco business interests.
- Travel as required, including some weekend travel for meetings and customer events.
- Manage time, company property (including vehicle), and all funding assigned responsibly.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Minimum B.S./B.A. degree; a degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Professional Experience, Knowledge and Technical Skills- Minimum 3 years successful sales experience.
- Successful sales experience in cardiovascular medicine, diagnostic imaging, or medical equipment preferred.
- Effective communication skills (oral and written), with excellent listening skills.
- Proactive demeanor with strong desire to succeed and ability to achieve results with minimum supervision.
- Managerial skills, business acumen, collaboration and impact, quality of communication, and ownership mindset.
CNMT, NCT, or ARRT (N) preferred. Must be a licensed driver without restrictions and able to drive a car. Field‑sales credentialing requires vaccinations and a background check, including a 10‑panel drug screen.
