Account Manager - Commercial Division

Responsibilities and Duties:- Develop and implement strategic sales plan to maintain corporate growth
- Appointments, telephone and email contact with customers to determine appropriate product based on application, recommendation and bid specifications.
- Prepare quotes, costing and lead-time while working with purchasing, engineering, service and scheduling to present the most competitive and complete package to fulfill customer needs.
- Recognize and adapt to new market conditions
- Immediate response to requests from customers and Monroe Truck Equipment management
- Communicate with customers about the build process and schedule of their equipment
- Attend, organize, and participate in meetings, training, trade shows and industry association meetings to support customer needs and for personal growth within the industry as required
- Work with Leadership Group to streamline the overall process with constant improvement in mind.
- Enter customer data for current and potential customers into CRM on a daily basis.
- Efficient planning of travel in your assigned territory.
- Driving Commercial Trucks to display and demonstrate Monroe Truck Equipment product.
- Occasional overnight travel is required
Skills:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and previous experience with truck equipment or related products is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics extremely beneficial.
- Ability to develop relationships with current and potential customers.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work within a Team Setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft office software;
Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook. - Ability to Read and Understand Specifications.
- Strong Organizational Skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Attention to detail is important.
- Proficient time management and multitasking.
- Must work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, profit margins, mark-up and percentages of growth.
