Senior Technical Sales Representative

Calgon Carbon Corporation is seeking a Senior Technical Sales Representative to grow sales of activated carbon and filtration solutions for water, air, and industrial applications. This role leads the full sales cycle, from prospecting and technical needs assessment to solution design, proposals, and closing. You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to deliver high-performance purification systems. Responsibilities

• Drive technical sales of activated carbon and filtration solutions to industrial and municipal customers
• Develop and manage a regional sales pipeline, from prospecting to close
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to design and propose tailored purification solutions
• Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and value analyses to customer decision-makers
• Prepare quotations, bids, and proposals in response to customer specs and RFQs
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key accounts and channel partners
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new opportunities
• Meet or exceed sales targets, margin goals, and territory growth objectives
• Provide post-sale technical support and coordinate with customer service and manufacturing
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales reports
