Security Officer - Plant Gatehouse PT

Allied Universal - Up to $20.81/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization for employees, contractors, and deliveries, and help to maintain orderly traffic through gates, lobbies, and/or checkpoints.;
Maintain accurate access logs and visitor records, issue and track badges and/or temporary credentials, and report discrepancies according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, access denials, disturbances, and coordination with site leadership and/or first responders as directed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and perform checks of doors, docks, and restricted areas to identify unauthorized access and/or unusual conditions.
