Plumbing Associate. Joliet Move Collective

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters
• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, low water pressure, and fixture malfunctions
• Install and replace plumbing components including sinks, faucets, toilets, and valves
• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues to minimize disruption to store operations
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and health regulations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used
• Coordinate with external contractors when specialized work is required
• Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as needed
• Monitor water usage and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements

• High school diploma/GED required
• 3+ years experience of plumbing or maintenance experience preferred
• Able to work well on a team
• Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Demonstrable knowledge and skills for plumbing systems, tools, and safety procedures
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

$18 - $45 per hour, depending on experience
