As a Regional Maintenance Team Lead for the US Walmart Account at WITRON, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor by coordinating technician activities and providing advanced hands‑on troubleshooting across multiple sites. You will help execute high‑priority maintenance tasks, refurbishments, commissioning support, and improvement initiatives while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption. As a key technical resource in the field, you will guide technicians, support task planning, communicate job status to leadership, and maintain strong documentation and safety standards during regional assignments.
You are an experienced electromechanical technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and a solid understanding of automated systems. You excel in dynamic, multi‑site environments and are comfortable supporting teams through technical guidance, coordination, and problem‑solving. You value structured planning, safety, and clear communication when working within live operations. Adaptable, organized, and improvement‑minded, you lead by example, maintain strong documentation habits, and contribute to a collaborative team culture while supporting the execution of regional maintenance priorities.
Qualifications- Post‑secondary technical training or vocational certification (e.g., Industrial Electrician, Millwright, or related trade)
- 2+ years experience as an Electromechanical Technician (automated or industrial environment)
- Proven ability to coordinate technicians and organize work activities during special assignments
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail and effective problem‑solving abilities
- Proven ability to learn new tasks quickly and apply practical technical judgment
- Strong proficiency with PCs and digital systems, including maintenance or operational software
- Consistent commitment to safety, responsibility, and professional work practices
- Experience working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, operational demands, and varying shift schedules
- Strong work habits that support maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing automated systems (e.g., conveyors, cranes, hoists)
- Skilled in mechanical repairs and use of hand/power tools (a must)
- Familiarity with AC systems up to 600/400/480 volts and DC systems up to 24 volts
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, symbols, and electrical measuring tools
- Knowledge of electrical/mechanical drive technology (e.g., motors and gears)
- Familiarity with control technology (e.g., controls, inverters)
- Basic understanding of PLC logic
- Ability to work at heights up to 100 feet (30 meters) with training and PPE, such as fall protection harness
