In this role, you'll collaborate with students facing truancy issues and provide essential counseling support to their families.

Your Role:

• Provide vital assistance to students and their families as they address truancy-related concerns. This includes implementing behavioral interventions and conducting home visits to foster engagement and gain insight into each student's unique circumstances.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and administrators to proactively identify students at risk of truancy and establish preventative measures to ensure their continued success.
• Develop and implement behavior modification plans for students with challenging behaviors, while extending supportive strategies to families during times of crisis or transition.
• Foster collaboration among families, students, and school staff to offer prehensive support, targeted interventions, and counseling, all aimed at helping students realize their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Registration as a Social Worker in the state of Illinois
• A talent for working harmoniously with students, families, and school staff
• Exceptional interpersonal, munication, and organizational skills
