SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY Our client is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to provide services to primarily high school students across multiple member school districts in the St. Louis Metro East area. This is a travel-based position supporting students with a variety of social, emotional, behavioral, and educational needs while collaborating closely with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Region III specializes in providing special education services to students with low-incidence disabilities and related support services across its member districts.

CLIENT'S LOCATION Positions are located in Cottage Hills, IL (St. Louis Metro East area)

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
• Experience providing school-based social work services, preferably with middle or high school students
• Knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and IDEA regulations
• Experience conducting social-emotional assessments and developing intervention strategies
  
  Ability to provide individual counseling, group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed practices, behavior management, and social-emotional learning (SEL)
