This assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through November 4, 2026, with the possibility of extension. KeyQualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Social Worker license (IL SSW)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Prior experience working in a school setting, specifically with elementary-age students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to promoting student success, equity, and well-being
- Deliver direct social work services to students in grades K through 5
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address academic, social, or behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement student support plans
- Provide crisis intervention and ongoing counseling as needed
- Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary teams
- Foster a positive, inclusive school environment
This role offers a full-time schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:35 PM, onsite only. You'll be part of a dedicated school community making a daily difference for students during a crucial stage of their development.
