System Validation Engineer

We are seeking a System Validation Engineer to plan and execute system-level verification for an aftermarket In-Cab AI Assistant platform for heavy equipment. The solution includes dedicated compute, a secondary display, voice-first interaction, machine integration, grounded Q&A, and connected-device capabilities such as OTA updates, logging, and diagnostics. This role focuses on end-to-end validation of integrated hardware/software behavior, test execution, defect isolation, and quality evidence needed to support MDP, MVP, and production-ready releases.

• Develop and execute system, integration, and validation test plans for the in-cab assistant platform.
• Validate end-to-end behavior across embedded compute, display, audio, assistant workflows, machine interfaces, logging, diagnostics, and OTA-related features.
• Verify software increments meet acceptance criteria and defined quality expectations.
• Execute bench, demo, and integrated test activities on prototype and target hardware.
• Document test results, defects, quality evidence, and release-readiness findings.
• Support root‑cause analysis and defect triage across software, platform, and hardware integration issues.
• Track quality metrics and communicate test status, risks, and gaps to the project team.
• Collaborate with developers, the Architect, and TPM to ensure reliable and testable releases.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software QA, system validation, or integration testing.
• Experience developing and executing system and integration test plans.
• Experience testing embedded, connected‑device, industrial, automotive, or hardware/software integrated systems.
• Experience writing clear test cases, documenting results, and managing defect reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills across software and hardware boundaries.
• Familiarity with logs, diagnostics, and system‑level debugging.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with bench testing, prototype hardware, or system integration labs.
• Familiarity with machine, vehicle, or industrial interfaces such as CAN, J1939, CDL, or similar environments.
• Experience validating products with OTA, telemetry, diagnostics, or connected‑device behavior.
• Experience in heavy equipment, automotive, industrial IoT, robotics, or connected machinery.
• Familiarity with voice‑enabled systems, operator‑facing HMIs, or secondary display applications.
• Experience supporting release readiness, field validation, or customer demonstration events.
