TPL - Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary (List Format):

• Apply principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to design, develop, test, and evaluate embedded software and systems.
• Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software.
• Work on embedded software for various applications including medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing.
• Read and interpret schematics and data sheets for components.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, requirements gathering, specification authoring, development, testing, and delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement system changes as needed for issue resolution.
• Utilize solid programming experience in modern C++.
• Develop software for embedded Linux operating systems.
• Utilize and manage development tools related to embedded systems (e.g., Git, Azure Dev Ops, HIL testing, Git Hub Copilot).
• Communicate effectively using verbal and written skills; demonstrate strong problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
