Pay in Joliet, IL:
Base pay from $19.50-$20.00 per hour based on skills and experience. 2nd Shift differential starting at $1.50. Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm.
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company safety policies.
- Load and unload trailers, railcars, perform order picking and transport to designated areas.
- Check product on inbound/outbound to ensure items, quantities are correct and no damage.
- Use handheld scanners/equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
- Perform daily maintenance inspections of equipment.
- Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
- Participate in keeping the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- Minimum of 1‑year experience operating a forklift.
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically exerting tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background investigation.
- Ability to work overtime and adjust schedule as needed.
- Experience with RF equipment.
- Warehouse experience in a high‑volume environment; experience in a food grade, refrigerated warehouse helpful.
- Familiarity with and ability to use order management systems such as WMS.
- Forklift certified.
