Firearms OTR Driver – full‑time Over‑the‑Road driver for Rock Island Auction Company (RIAC). No CDL required. This role involves traveling across the country with a co‑driver to transport firearms, bladed weapons, military and historic collectibles, and other auction items. Drivers maximize earning potential through special bonuses and gain firsthand experience of the industry.

The driver also handles onboarding duties during non‑driving hours: working in the warehouse, shipping items to clients, setting up auction displays, and completing inventory projects. Standard hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST.

• Travel between RIAC facilities and client locations for pickup and delivery
• Handle and ensure safe loading and unloading of collectible firearms, bladed weapons, and other military and historic collectibles

• One long trip per month, average 8–10 consecutive days
• 3–5 day OTR trips approximately 1–3 times per month

• Hourly driver with benefits eligibility
• All meals, lodging, and relevant expenses paid while on the road
• Free fountain soda, fruit, oatmeal, and treats at the Rock Island location
• Bonus structure
  • End‑of‑year bonus based on total days on the road:
    • 50 days – $2,000
    • 100 days – $4,000
    • 150 days – $6,000
    • 180 days – $10,000
  • Drivers who are on the road after 8 days also receive a bonus day off

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain an Illinois Class C driver’s license (or equivalent)
• Pass DOT physical
• Favorable driving record (no DUI convictions within the past seven years)
• Obtain and maintain active FOID card status (Illinois residents only)
• Requirements such as Class C license, DOT physical, and FOID card are paid by the company
