Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for operating sit-down and/or clamp forklift equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the distribution center. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of propane sit-down forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Starting at $20.50/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Located in Joliet, IL

• Operate sit-down and/or clamp forklift equipment safely and efficiently
• Stack and store merchandise in designated areas
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment
• Ensure accurate product counts and proper shipment loading
• Perform picking and order checking duties as needed
• Move product from staging or storage areas into trailers
• Maintain records and reports to ensure inventory control and security
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts

• Ensure proper stock rotation
• Complete equipment inspection forms prior to operation
• Use RF scanning equipment to maintain inventory accuracy
• Report safety concerns and inventory discrepancies to management

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years of sit-down propane forklift experience required
• Ability to become NFI forklift certified
• Basic Excel and general computer knowledge required
• Ability to stand and walk for 10–12 hours
• Ability to lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs without restriction
• Ability to bend, stretch, reach above and below the waist frequently
• Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, lighting, and temperatures
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights and weekends as needed
• Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and excellent customer service skills
