Position Purpose
This position is responsible for assisting the station management team in the overall operation of the inspection station in accordance with established policies and procedures. Perform remitter transactions and disseminating information about the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program.

Position PurposeThis position is responsible for assisting the station management team in the overall operation of the inspection station in accordance with established policies and procedures. Perform remitter transactions and disseminating information about the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program.
Duties And Responsibilities- Assist the station manager and assistant manager in the overall operation of the inspection station.
- Provide assistance with the remitter program
- Assist with manpower needs of the station.
- Performs overt auditing when directed by the station manager or assistant manager
- Performs waiver inspections on all applicable vehicles, and grants waivers according to IEPA guidelines
- Travels to other stations as needed to provide staffing support
- Perform other duties as assigned by the station manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous vehicle inspection experience is preferred
- Valid driver's license and good driving reco
