POSITION OVERVIEW:
Provide safe, reliable transportation; follow all driving policies and procedures; and maintain a valid Illinois driver's license and PACE certification.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of people transported to Trinity programs and community events
- The ability to utilize strong directional skills while operating a pace minivan
- Safely operate and follow procedures for wheelchair lifts, tie-downs, and other mobility equipment
- Strong verbal and open communication skills
- Works well independently and with others
- Knowledge of driving regulations and rules of the road
- Never operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or carrying substances or weapons
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift over 40 pounds unassisted (floor to waist).
- Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to perform deep knee squats.
- Ability to push wheelchairs weighing up to 200 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and remain stationary for extended periods.
- Ability to operate motor vehicles safely.
- Perform physical tasks such as balancing, reaching, lifting, pulling, stooping, kneeling, and repetitive motion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- An exceptional driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Current driver's license for at least 3 years
