Position
Picker – Weekend (Outbound Dept, 1st Shift) – Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 4:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Location:
Joliet, IL 60436
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour (based on experience and performance)

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Warehouse Picker. This position plays a key role in accurately selecting and preparing merchandise for shipment to major e‑commerce clients. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining accuracy and speed during peak season operations. Must be computer literate.
Responsibilities- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use handheld scanners or PDA systems to verify product codes and quantities.
- Place picked items in the correct totes or pallets for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Follow all work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Communicate with leads or supervisors regarding shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor or manager.
- Report any hazards to the Illinois Department of Labor.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Basic reading, writing, and computer literacy skills required (ability to follow written work instructions).
- Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility for meeting productivity and quality goals.
- Willingness to work overtime or flexible schedules during peak season.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
