Position SummaryWe are seeking reliable and hardworking Sorters to join our team at Western Post. This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by sorting, organizing, and palletizing merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑conscious, and capable of performing physically demanding work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
A manager will review each applicant's work experience to determine which position is best suited for their skills and experience. Please be prepared to discuss your previous work history during the interview.
Responsibilities- Sort and organize products according to operational requirements.
- Build and organize pallets in a safe, efficient, and orderly manner.
- Move, stack, and arrange boxes to maximize pallet stability and warehouse efficiency.
- Inspect products for visible damage and report any discrepancies to leadership.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Follow all company policies, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, reaching, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to organize boxes onto pallets efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. - Strong attention to safety and organization.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
