Dock Worker

Dock Worker in Joliet, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Dock Worker to join our team in Joliet, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for moving freight, stock, or other materials, operating hand and power tools, and more listed below. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a similar role, ability to read and follow directions, must have reliable attendance, and the ability to work in a team.

• Starting at $21/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 1st shift from 7am – 3:30pm or 10am – 6:30pm. OT Availability required
• Located in Joliet, Illinois

• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
• Operate hand and power tools when needed to support outbound blocking and bracing to load out containers.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
• Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.
• Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
• Periodically use computers, email, scanners, and the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory, create paperwork, or document reporting.
• Support and promote company core values.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
